  • NXfolio™ – Logistics Control Platform
  • NXanalyzer™ – Risk Assessment and Rule Management Platform
  • NXauditor™ – Audit Tracking Platform
  • NXmonitor™ – Business Dashboard and Process Automation Platform
  • VariaXML™ – XML Differentiation Toolkit

NXfolio™

NXfolio™ provides the highest level of transparency, responsiveness, and efficiency by combining a sophisticated data model with the latest developments in regulatory compliance and content with the full data connectivity needed to manage numerous non-logistics based, complex, mission-critical chain of custody challenges.

NXfolio™ is designed to leverage, complement and to integrate easily with customers' existing software investments. NXfolio's technology platform is built using an Internet-based, open standards "Service-Oriented Architecture" that supports rapid implementation and fast value delivery. NXfolio™ provides sophisticated data fusion, data storage, data presentation, and data processing utilizing a high-performance in-memory rules engine. NXfolio™ is designed to support and has been implemented in multiple languages.

NXanalyzer™

NXanalyzer™ is a powerful risk management, rule management, and rule execution application built using a sophisticated in-memory rules engine. It can calculate the risk score for datasets, create rules which will be executed if the conditions defined in the rules are satisfied, and determine the corresponding action to be taken.

NXauditor™

NXauditor™ simplifies the addition of change tracking of business data to Java applications. This self-contained solution enables critical auditing functionality without adding additional complexity to business logic and without polluting the production database.

Accurate tracking of changes to business data is a very important capability for improved customer service, dispute resolution, and information assurance.

For example, in the case of an order management system or an invoice management system, it is very desirable that each and every change to the order or the invoice be attributable to a specific user at a specific time. These are often referred to as the "who" and "when" aspects of change tracking. It is often even more important to compare the before and after changes to individual data elements over time. This is often referred to as the "what" aspect of change tracking.

Previous solutions to this common problem have implemented snapshot versions of records in the production database, flagged the older records using status columns, used pseudo primary keys, or used cumbersome data tables to capture field-by-field changes. These approaches suffer significant disadvantages, including high cost, technical complexity, and poor adaptability. Maintenance becomes especially difficult and costly, since these approaches tightly couple change tracking with core business logic.

Using an innovative patent-pending method, NXauditor™ is able to track all versions of the business data, and pinpoint exactly what change was made between any two versions. It has the power to understand complex, hierarchical business data spanning an unlimited number of tables. Implementation and maintenance costs and risks are low, since NXauditor™does not require changes to the core business logic or impact production databases.

NXmonitor™

NXmonitor™ supports development of dashboards for Business Process Automation and Business Intelligence applications.
The NXmonitor™ methodology involves 5 basic steps:

  • Define watch points - databases, file systems, FTP servers, webservices, etc.
  • Define agents that monitor business data at these watch points, such as a new invoice received or a new order submitted.
  • Define agents to take necessary actions - invoke a process, create a database record, call a webservice, or alert a user.
  • Create a complete business process by using multiple agents and specifying their workflow.
  • Define the "key performance indicators" (KPIs) of the system. vActiveMonitor shows real-time information from the KPIs on the dashboard.

variaXML™

variaXML™ delivers structured XML output as a result of the comparison of XML documents. Thus, it delivers a critical functionality without adding additional complexity to XML-based processes. XML has emerged as the de facto standard for storing business data and documents. A change control solution that can compare xml documents with high accuracy, efficiency, and speed at minimal cost is a common business requirement.
The key benefits are:

  • Using innovative algorithms, variaXML™ is able to pinpoint the changes between XML documents with remarkable speed of execution. While input scenarios can vary, the time of execution increases linearly with the input size.
  • variaXML™ can be configured to use different strategies that will be more efficient in particular scenarios depending on whether the data is in ordered form or unordered in two xml documents. It can also be configured to define how deeply it should compare data; whether they should be compared character by character, word by word, or sentence by sentence. The output xml or display can also be configured for individual business needs.
  • variaXML™ presents a very simple API for comparing xml-based data. The complete variaXML™ API for comparing xml files may be as simple as "void compare (String input1, String input2 , String output)". Standard Based variaXML is fully XML compliant. It is supported on JDK 1.4 or later, on all platforms.
