NTELX Announces the Launch of the First Phase of the NXFolio Open-Source Project

NTELX is releasing its core NXFolio software as an open-source project as part of its commitment to solving complex problems for the supply chain and logistics industry. NXFolio provides compatibility with industry data standards, full lifecycle support for shipments, administrative and physical events, management of entities, invoices and payment tracking, and the ability to integrate with legacy EDI messaging. NTELX plans to enhance the NXFolio open- source platform, adding support for emerging open-source API based interoperability, such as the DSCA APIs.
The initial release of the software focuses on NXFolio’s comprehensive yet flexible data model. With future releases, NTELX will focus on additional capabilities that will further enhance integration and interoperability. NTELX welcomes participation, feedback and contributions from the open-source community.
NTELX believes that NXFolio can serve as the basis for creating an open, standards based operational supply chain/logistics platform. Leveraging open-source code and open data standards, the supply chain/logistics community can avoid recreating the wheel and instead focus on tailoring NXFolio-based solutions to solve the industry’s complex, evolving challenges.
