NTELX and ContainerEyes Win Coveted BIRD Foundation Innovation Grant

September 7, 2023  - Tysons, VA:  ContainerEyes (Tel Aviv, Israel) and NTELX (Tysons, VA) have been awarded the top grant from the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial R&D Foundation (BIRD) to develop a tracking, condition monitoring and risk-analysis system to aid in decision making to increase food safety and security while food and agricultural products are in transit. The grant will support NTELX and ContainerEyes in the further development of its best-in-class solution that will provide visibility into containerized goods in transit, assess and monitor their real-time condition and empower customers to make faster and smarter decisions during global shipping.

“Globally, around 40% of all food is lost or wasted throughout the supply chain. Specifically, 25% of all long-distance food shipments are lost during transit. Our unique combination of sensor technology, logistics visibility and analytics will be a great advance in the movement of food and agricultural produce around the globe. NTELX’s proprietary platform is a perfect complement to CE’s multi-sensor array to provide smart decision making while in transit.”

Avi Azulai, Founder & CEO, ContainerEyes

“We are delighted to have an investment from the BIRD Foundation in this unique solution to a major challenge in global food shipments.  Winning the BIRD competition further validates the importance and value of this next-generation solution.”

Rob Rosenberg, CEO, NTELX
