NTELX Delivers Import-Targeting Solution to CPSC
Pilot testing underway
Vienna, Va. – NTELX, a provider of data analytics and operational decision-support solutions to public and private sector clients, has delivered an import risk-targeting solution to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in partnership with Armedia, LLC. The solution, known as the Risk Assessment Methodology, is being used to pilot test a new approach to risk-based screening for imported products regulated by the CPSC. The NTELX solution makes CPSC the first Participating Government Agency to receive and be able to use US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data through CBP’s International Trade Data System (ITDS). The pilot went live on October 11 for selected products at seven ports of entry, and has demonstrated improvements in targeting efficiency and effectiveness.

The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract has a multi-million dollar total value, with NTELX already cleared to be awarded over 25% of the total value over a two-year period.
